Beautiful world, beautiful descriptions - there is nothing I did not love about this. I think you hit all my narrative-kink buttons for TRC numerous times; lovely use of Fai's magic - his solution came right about the point in the text when I was wondering why he wasn't using it (and I'd kill to see the light-tattoos he created), and the misunderstanding about everything between Kurogane and Fai felt very them.
