2013 Spring Olympics, Fantasy vs Future: The Results!
At last, the results are in & have been tallied, double-checked, and compiled in some neat tables for your review!
Before we announce the winners, I would like to thank all of you whom participated this year! Whether you were writing for Team Fantasy or for Team Future; whether you voted on all the entries or just a couple - your help was invaluable, and I would like to say that I personally as your moderator very much appreciated all of you. Thank you so much, guys! I hope you had fun! Feel free to give yourselves the huge pats on the back you deserve!

bottan out for some additional praise, however - not only did she write (for Team Future), she also drew our adorable Moko-mascots specifically for this challenge, designed & created our banners, & tallied, compiled, and checked over the results with me. I hope I speak for us all when I say: thank you, Rieke. You're a superstar.
At any rate, time now to divulge the results of this round of Olympics! The votes have been counted & put in nice tables, so all that's left is to announce that the winners of the 2013 Spring Fantasy vs Future Olympics are...
... Team Future!
Team Future scored 8.64 to Team Fantasy's 8.58. That's less than 0.1 difference between you, guys!
For a further breakdown of the results, behold the following two tables:
(These results include a 2 point penalty forcloverfield who was unable to finish her fic due to injury - without this penalty Team Fantasy's results would have been 8.78! I'm sorry for being a hardass, bb! I hope you feel better! Still friends? ♥?)
Three cheers forcaffeine_buzz, whose fic "The Bright End of Nowhere" was both the highest-scoring fic on Team Future & the highest-scoring fic for the contest as a whole!
An additional three cheers for the ever-excellentkittenkin & uakari of Team Fantasy, who tied for second-highest results & the highest on Team Fantasy!
And finally, the loudest three cheers of all for our amazing pinch-hitters!yoshikochan, kittenkin, farenmaddox and most resoundingly animangod, all of whom stepped in to replace people, sometimes at the last possible minute and without whom we would have been well and truly screwed. HIP HIP HOORAH!

I like how every time the teams' overall scores are very close. That just shows that all of the writers are amazing and the playing field on both sides are even. Thanks for organizing, Reikah!
